Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
Our next question is so one of the questions uh and one of the probably hardest decisions for a client is to figure out what size of the boat they need.
We got to keep in mind that renting the job is a luxury. It's you know it's not a necessity. So um not just because you have a big boat doesn't mean that you can bring six 60 people on board. There is rules and regulations on how many people you can have on board and depending on how many people there is on board. You need a certain amount of people to uh manage all the guests. Uh I'll probably say uh most bows they usually do about 12 guests. Uh the midsize boats, large boats, they do about 16 guests.
Small boats they do about eight guests. So you definitely gota pick and choose the boat that you know it's uh it's accurate for the group that you need. I I get asked a lot of questions to where you know they they have a group of 16 people then trying to make and and they try to rate my smaller boat. I understand that it's probably the price but that just just not going to work. uh it's too small. No one's gonna I mean not everyone's going to have a seat. So it just doesn't make any sense. Um one of my one of my best sellers is my 55 footer and you know most most of the time that gets rented with like you know three or four guests. Uh so it's not about you know the size or how much room that you have. It's you know the experience uh that you want to have uh and obviously uh your budget as well. But we have multiple multiple size boats and then we pretty much can accommodate, you know, any anywhere from like two people all the way up to like 14 to 16 people depending on what they're looking for and what.
Cabo Dream Yacht advised that yacht size selection depends on the number of guests, noting that regulations limit capacity. They clarified that typical capacities are around 8 guests for small boats, 12 for most boats, and 16 for mid-size to large boats, emphasizing the importance of choosing a boat that comfortably accommodates the group size for a better experience rather than just focusing on price.
